Who I am

This website belongs to Bright Beginnings Doula LLC, run by Hamida, a doula serving Fredericksburg, Virginia and surrounding areas. You can reach me at hello@brightbeginningsdoula.care or (202) 699-3575.

What the contact form collects

When you request a consultation, the form sends me what you choose to type in:

• Your name, and your email and/or phone number
• The kind of support you are looking for, your due date or baby's birthday, and how you plan to pay
• Your preferred language, the best way to reach you, and any message you write

I use this only to reply to you and to prepare for our conversation. Please don't include detailed medical information in the form. We can talk about anything personal privately.

How it is handled

Your message is sent securely (HTTPS) and delivered by email to my business inbox, using Amazon Web Services to send it and Google Workspace to receive it. The website itself does not keep your message in a database. Technical error logs are kept for up to 30 days and do not contain what you wrote.

Website statistics

To understand how the site is used, it counts anonymous visits with Amazon CloudWatch RUM: pages viewed, page speed, browser and device type, and simple events such as "form sent" or "guide downloaded". It uses no cookies and is not used to identify you. If you choose light or dark mode, that choice is saved only in your own browser.

Sharing

I never sell or rent your information. It is shared only with the services above that help run this website and email, or if the law requires it.

How long I keep it

I keep your messages for as long as they help me support you, and delete them sooner if you ask.

Your choices

You can ask me to show you, correct or delete the information you have sent. Just email hello@brightbeginningsdoula.care.

Children

This website is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, I will update the date at the top of this page.
